Verdun "Horrors of War" Free DLC


The first (and only) historically accurate WWI Multiplayer FPS, Verdun, has just launched a new super-sized chunk of DLC titled “Horrors of War”. This Piece of DLC includes several new factions, weapons, a horde mode and gore (hence the title “Horrors of War”).

Soldiers now scream and flail around after being shot, get reduced to chunks when hit by artillery, and bodies now last for a really long time. New additions such as new squads Belgium and America, and two need German units adds some much needed variety, without unbalancing the game. The star of the show is the wave based Squad Defense, where players must form a squad, and fend off waves of enemies. This was a great edition since the multiplayer is dominated by more skilled veteran players, thus allowing new players a chance to learn each squad’s weapons and abilities. Also, the new mode is just plain fun, especially when playing with a group.
