Joe Grabowski on the AI Driven Game "Tuebor"
Imagine playing a game that slowly learns how you play. Enter Tuebor, an action game in which players are pitted against some of the most advanced AI out there. Unlike traditional AI, the enemies in Tuebor will learn from you, thus becoming increasingly lethal as you play.
Currently, most games with AI rely on predetermined paths and patterns. Tuebor flips the table, and instead focuses on AI that learns how you play, and adapts to your play style. In most games, as players

Verdun "Horrors of War" Free DLC
The first (and only) historically accurate WWI Multiplayer FPS, Verdun, has just launched a new super-sized chunk of DLC titled “Horrors of War”. This Piece of DLC includes several new factions, weapons, a horde mode and gore (hence the title “Horrors of War”). Soldiers now scream and flail around after being shot, get reduced to chunks when hit by artillery, and bodies now last for a really long time. New additions such as new squads Belgium and America, and two need German

Jordan Hample from Semag Studios on Hoopity Stick.
Hoop Rolling. An old timey tradition of pushing a wooden hoop with a stick. Excited yet? Well Semag Studios has taken this old school tradition and turned it into a white knuckle gauntlet. Hoopity Stick is based off a children’s game often associated with powdered wigs and horse drawn carriages and turned it into something along the lines of an extreme sports game. Comically over the top and surprisingly intense Hoopity Stick takes Hoop Rolling to a new level with obstacles t

Quicky Review: LoZ: Twilight Princess HD
Now that I have had some time with The Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess HD I can easily say I'm impressed. Playing with the Wii U game pad was what i have been expecting since the first announcement of the console all those years ago. I admit I have bought plenty of games for the system but none of them used the gamepad as I desired. Many games forced me to use the gamepad screen for what felt like underwhelming, gimmicky purposes, such as the horn in Mario Kart 8. Being a

Michael Panin, The Creation of The Lost Socks.
Socks! You wouldn’t think they are capable of much aside from smelling like rancid cheese after a long jog. The people at Nerf games are here to prove you wrong. Armed to the teeth with over the top weapons The Lost Socks is a beautiful symphony of destruction.
We got a chance to check out Nerf Games newest project and talk to the staff. Originally we got in touch with the CEO Regov Anton after seeing the game in action. Hailing from Russia Anton was glad to give us the

Ben Gray on Creating Color Dash
Today I got the chance to speak to an colleague of mine, Ben Gray. Ben and I had worked on an Xbox One title a long time ago and now he's getting ready to launch the new mobile puzzle game, Color Dash. The game is simple, yet addictive, with a clean minimalist style. Color Dash features a simple color blending mechanics that becomes more complicated. New subtle twists on blending are introduced with each new level making the game easy to learn but hard to master. Color Dash w

Of Division and Destiny
I was never a big fan of Destiny. Not that I hated the game it just never sucked me in. I guess the one thing I had against Destiny was how controlled it felt. PVE and PVP were separated into small sections in the form of matchmaking lobbies and instances. Of course there are open areas where you could encounter other players but aside from the occasional Encounter missions most of these players kept to themselves with little to no incentive to interact with each other. This

My Black Desert Experience
To make amends I made sure to be ready for the second test, currently going on at time of writing. I have put in about 2 hours into the game so far. So far I'm really enjoying it, reaching lvl 9. However, me being so inexperienced with this type of MMORPG I'm not used to having to “compete” for kills. Black Desert, like most games, begins with the character doing tedious tasks as a means of teaching players how the game works. Part of this process is killing specified creatur

Ubisoft Division Record Breaking Beta
Ubisoft brand new IP The Divison had a record breaking 6.4 million players last week join it's open beta. The previous game to hold this record was rival Destiny. Which had over the summer 4.6 million players in its open beta. What makes these number even more impressive is that 6.4 million is only from Xbox One, Ps4 and PC. Meanwhile Destiny beta had the benefit of past console generation minus the PC. Ubisoft also announced that beta users logged around 5 hours of play time

Firewatch Quicky Review
Let’s start by saying Firewatch by Campo Santo is an amazing game. The graphics are gorgeous, voice acting stupendous, with an amazing/unique story to boot. However, it is not a game for everyone. This game is a slow burner (hah get it?). There are tasks that need to be completed but you could go about it your own way. Everyone’s gaming experience will be different based on the dialogue and optional actions they choose. I was so intrigued with all the possibilities in how the
