Nintendo will have a special presentation that they promises will give out the exact release date, pricing and launch titles during its Jan. 12 presentation in Tokyo. The Tokyo press event starts at 11 p.m. EST and will be available to watch on Nintendo.com with English voice-overs.
The webcast will then be followed by a hands-on event for investors and members of the press in New York City on Jan.13. The Nintendo Switch will be available to the public for the first time on Jan. 15 in New York City.
Nintendo also announced a list of cities and dates for its Nintendo Switch preview tour in the United States. After New York, the Nintendo Switch will be previewed in Washington D.C. (Feb. 10-12), Chicago (Feb. 17-19), San Francisco (Feb. 24-26) and Los Angeles (March 3-5). For those up North, the company will also be making a stop in Toronto, Canada on Jan. 27 until Jan. 29. The third day of each stop will be open to the public, albeit to a limited number only.
