HiRez Expo 2017 Starts Tomorrow

Only one day remains before the greatest SMITE teams from Season 3 take to the World Stage at Hi-Rez Expo 2017! With players coming in from fourteen different countries around the world, the event is the culmination of another amazing year in SMITE esports. You can catch all of the action on Twitch.tv/HiRezTV all weekend long, let’s take a look at some of the exciting things going on.

EXCLUSIVE TWITCH PRIME SUBSCRIBER REWARDS

Twitch Prime subscribers will be eligible to claim the exclusive JT-6000 for Janus, plus additional rewards to be announced during HRX.

REWARDS FOR TWITCH VIEWERS

HRX Viewers who have linked their Hi-Rez and Twitch accounts at www.hirezstudios.com/link are eligible to receive special rewards during the broadcast. These rewards will be random, but can include things like in-game currency or chest rolls.

COCA-COLA SMITE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (SWC) FINALS VIEWING PARTY

On Sunday, Jan. 8th, Coca-Cola will be hosting viewing parties for the Grand Finals of the SMITE PC World Championship at select Cinemark Theaters across North America, beginning at 5:00 PM EST. WORLD-CLASS ESPORTS

This year’s Hi-Rez Expo rings in the new year with more competitive esports than any previous Hi-Rez event. Twenty-two teams from across the world converge in Atlanta to determine the SMITE PC World Champion, SMITE Console World Champion, and the Paladins $150,000 HRX Invitational winner. Here is a breakdown of this years PC SMITE World Championship’s Prize Pool:

NOTE: If a Brazilian, Latin American, Chinese, or Oceania team makes semifinals, a $50,000.00 bonus will be awarded on top of their appearance fee.

COMMUNITY COSPLAY CONTEST

This year’s annual HRX Cosplay Contest features $15,000 in prizes across multiple categories. Judging occurs on Saturday, Jan. 7th, with the winners presented on the main stage between the first and second SMITE PC semifinals.

SPECIAL GAME REVEALS

A ton of announcements for fans this year. Players will learn about upcoming new content and events in SMITE, Paladins, and SMITE Tactics, as well as other things coming from Hi-Rez Studios.

EXPO HALL

The HRX Expo Hall will feature playable versions of never-before-seen content across Hi-Rez’s games, as well as partner booths, meet-and-greets and more!
