Nintendo's Next Console is Called the Switch, and its Trailer is out NOW!!!

Nintendo finally lifted the covers with the announcement of their much anticipated new console: the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch, which was formally known under code name Nintendo NX, was showcased in a trailer that was released today. This is the first time we can finally confirm the rumors that Nintendo is in fact making a highly portable console. Clearly, they are looking to make a play on expanding their dominance over the portable gaming market. The 3DS has been the only saving grace Nintendo has had since the Wii, so it makes total sense that Nintendo is playing to their strengths.

We still don't have much information on the Switch, but the trailer confirms many rumors that have been swirling around the internet (portable,removable controllers and TV base).

The trailer does a great job getting people excited for the new console generation. As soon as more information becomes available, we will be sure to cover it. Until then, have fun watching and drooling over the potential the Switch has.
